  1. Start by heating water to around 93°C.

  2. But how much coffee in a cafetiere ? While you're waiting for the water to heat up, grind your coffee beans to a coarse texture. The amount of coffee you use will depend on your personal taste and the size of your cafetière, but we recommend 20g for a 330ml press. 

  3. Once the water is heated, add it to the cafetière. Be sure to preheat the press itself by adding a little hot water and swirling it around before discarding it.

  4. Add the coffee grounds to the press and gently stir. Then leave for 30 seconds to bloom. 

  5. Top up to the fill line and stir well. 
    1. Put the lid on the press with the plunger pulled all the way up, and let the coffee steep for about 5-8 minutes.

    2. Press the plunger all the way down to the bottom of the pot. This will separate the coffee from the grounds.
